Big Island High

Joe: First full day on the Big Island. We took a plane ride over Mt. Kilauaea's lava vents and watched molten lava flowing into the sea. Hot Stuff. Jessica didn't use the "Aloha" Bag even once.

Jessica: I almost had to!! We had a great pilot who narrated the entire ride. We're loving being back in the islands. There's just something about this place. (As I type this, we just noticed a gecko looking back at us from the Hotel lobby ceiling!)

It's likely going to snow tonight. Not measureable accumulations, but still cold, wet, winter SNOW. Ugh.

Soak up all the sunshine you can while you are there!! I can't wait to keep seeing your updates and pics from your travels :) ~Kelli
